Contract to Hire - W2



Our financial services client in Plano, TX is searching for a Infrastructure Developer to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Our client depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities, and non-profits. As a member of our Infrastructure Development team, you'll dive right into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to developing and deploying large-scale infrastructure solutions. You'll be using the latest technologies, data management, and security practices in all aspect of software development. Critical thinking, clear communication, and collaboration are key to successful product delivery.

• 10+ years overall IT experience with at least 5+ years experience in IT infrastructure engineering (Linux, Networking, Object Storage, SAN, NAS)
• Experience with infrastructure software development in general-purpose programming languages: Python or Java
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large scale software development, security software development
• Experience with cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure orchestration, IaC and automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python)
• Experience working with configuration management toolchain (Ansible, Puppet)
• Experience with containers orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS) is preferred.
• Experience with AWS and/or other cloud technologies is preferred.
• Understanding or have experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
