Job Description - Software QA Analyst - Remote

Title: Software QA Analyst

Location: REMOTE IN THE U.S.

Compensation Range: $40-$45/hour



ICS, a Korn Ferry company, is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, with web application, website, and mobile application testing experience! This will be about 95% manual testing and 5% automation testing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience testing cloud-hosted/customer-facing web applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.



WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Create and execute test scenarios and test cases.
• Manage the tracking and monitoring of defects.
• Report testing status via test summary and defect reporting.
• Support a large portfolio of applications that will support a specific line of business, channel or other business functions.
• Serve as Subject matter expert (SME) for application software quality.
• Manage and lead cross-functional collaboration with other LOB's and other Tech partners to ensure software quality.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:

• 3 or more years of experience in testing and quality assurance processes, including three years' experience leading testing initiatives
• Experience testing web applications and mobile applications
• Expert knowledge of test management tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, Client Application Lifecycle Management or Quality Center
• Expertise in Master Test plan management, Business Analysis, gathering test requirements, writing user test stories, building acceptance and success criteria, leading grooming meetings; Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
• Thorough understanding of business, functional and technical aspects for applications assigned portfolio
• Thorough understanding of application landscape (e.g. application architecture, physical and logical deployment, interfaces, dependencies) for applications in assigned portfolio.
