Job Description - Balance Sheet Monitoring

Balance Sheet Monitoring Analyst 

New York, NY (hybrid onsite)

pay range: 80-87/hr

• Perform balance sheet analysis and reconciliation
• Experience in providing daily or weekly balance sheet estimates to management
• Reporting of total assets by division and desk broken out by different categories that comprise total assets (trading inventory, repo, cash, receivables, fails)
• Provide explanations on why day or over day these categories increased or decreased and if they are valid changes.
• Will work with various departments to determine if something was actually recorded correctly and make recommendations as how to resolve.
• Prepare daily Balance Sheets to management and the front office
• Investigate Balance Sheet breaks with respective owners and resolve issues timely (daily).
• Knowledge of broker dealer and derivative Balance Sheet reporting.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
