Job Description - Senior Power BI Developer Consultant - Remote

TITLE: Senior Power BI Developer Consultant

Location: Remote in the U.S.

Compensation Range:

ICS, a Korn Ferry company, is looking for a Senior Power BI Consultant, to support a key enterprise project to improve Project, Program, and Portfolio reporting. You will assess and develop high visibility dashboards that will drive effective processes, demand management, and prioritization across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert and thrive in a global, dynamic environment.



What You’ll Do:

• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Developing visual reports, key performance indicators (KPI) scorecards, and dashboards for visibility up to the Executive-level.
• Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid in decision-making.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish.
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
• Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
• Excellent communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.

  Skills / Experience You Will Need:

• 4 or more years of Power BI development experience for enterprise reporting
• Must have SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with MS Project Online and JIRA
• Understanding of the Microsoft BI stack.
• Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross team and collaborate with others.
• Solid debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
