Job Description - Storage Administrator - Remote

Storage Administrator

Compensation Range : $145K-$155K base + bonus



Additional Job Description

• Manage, Support, and Administer enterprise storage environment
• Assist and contribute to the analysis, configuration, and deployment of high availability systems and storage architecture
• Participate in a structured change management process
• Occasional night and weekend hours are required in order to implement changes during designated downtime windows

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expert-level knowledge of storage and administration experience
• Platform knowledge of arrays from Dell Powermax/Unity/Isilon/ECS, Netapp, Hitachi and Client 3par. S
• Strong knowledge of API development and development stacks such as SALT, Ansible, PowerShell, or Chef.
• Broad understanding of other core IT technologies (e.g., networking, software development, etc) as it pertains to system interoperability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate at both technical and business levels
• Willing and able to work as part of a collaborative team
• Possess the ability to lead and influence people to drive change
• High energy, positive attitude, passionate
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
