Job Description - Supply Chain Coordinator

TITLE: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Franklin, TN



ICS is hiring a Supply Chain Coordinator/Specialist for a $400M hyper growth company in the food production industry with a brand new 8300 sq ft office in Franklin, TN.



Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the vision. Consistently seek new opportunities to partner with vendors that are in line with our brand and focus for the company.
• Collect orders from Customers/Sales staff and transmit the information to Norway
• Create all fresh or frozen sales orders and release them through Seasoft
• Track and maintain all fresh or frozen PO's and create monthly reports of actual usage
• Maintain inventory of Wixter items and release all Wixter orders as requested
• Work on compliance related tasks including renewals on ongoing licenses as well as applying for new ones
• Act as the back up on the frozen or fresh shipments
• Created training materials with the help of teammates
• Troubleshoot computer problems in the office
• Negotiate rates and create service improvements with vendors
• Support Account Executives on logistics and provide forecasted rates for potential sales
• Always maintain levels of confidence for Clients inventory in comparison to Preferred Freezer
• Evaluate inventory levels on a monthly basis to ensure optimal levels for all sales contracts
• Report any inventory or vendor issues immediately with the appropriate parties
• Consistently check to ensure Norway is shipping and documenting the correct inventory to our inventory reports
• Communicate if there are issues with PO volumes that need to be adjusted by Finance//Business Manager or Procurement
• Always work to maintain appropriate rates with all vendors that the Client works with
