Job Description - IT Support Temp

TITLE: IT Support Temp

Location: South Bend

Compensation Range : 18-22/hr






We are looking for an IT Temp (8 to 5 - Mon thru Fri) to manage IT assets including but not limited to: configuring laptops and PC's, shipping to end users and provided basic support. The IT Temp will be part of a team supporting the entire organization as they continue to grow and expand. The ideal person will have experience working with Intune and have the ability to read documentation on how to configure and ship out IT equipment. You must be able to work independently with minimial supervision.



Responsibilities:

  • Follow SOP's and documentation to configure and ship laptops and PC's
  • Works independently with little supervision to troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate most moderately complex IT issues related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network.
  • Manage and process team tickets and requests according to predefined SLAs.
  • Follow up on unresolved ticket status on behalf of end-users.
  • Troubleshoots issues and research issue origins to resolve tickets.
  • Interacts with and verifies end-users to collect information, clarify needs and to determine course of action.
  • Provide imaging support as required for new user setups.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, and standards.
  • Seek to develop self and skills needed to be prepared for future opportunities consistently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 2+ years in relevant area.
  • Prefer CompTIA A+, MCP, HDI certifications, ITIL certifications
  • Experience with Intune is preferred
  • Minimum of two or more years of experience on a Service Desk supporting an online service and/or customer service in a technical field is highly desirable.
    • Requires ability to concentrate on detailed tasks for sustained periods of time.
    • Requires the ability to operate computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, other general office equipment, and to record written information.
    • Requires the ability to communicate with customers, users, and vendor representatives in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 Administration, Microsoft Endpoint Management preferred.
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgement, and discretion.
  • Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented environments.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, good investigative and customer service skills.
  • This role operates in a standard office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Frequently life and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Overtime, evening, and weekends may be required.
