We are conducting a search for a Trading Operations Analyst to join a growing investment firm. The Operations Analyst will have the opportunity to support all functions related to trade operations and settlements, including trade communication, reconciliation, and break resolution. You will also be the liaison between the trading teams and the middle and back office support groups.
Responsibilities:
- Help the trade operations team monitor and resolve all trade issues.
- Ensuring all collateral and OTC settlement movements are reconciled, affirmed, and processed accordingly at relevant counterparties and within internal systems
- Settlement of equity, bonds, equity swaps, TRS, CMBX, interest rate swaps, interest rate futures
- Liaise with PMs/analyst on corporate actions
- Swap/OTC counterparty collateral management
- Management of settlement inquiries from brokers
- Flash and reconcile daily P&L to senior management
- Ad Hoc Project Management
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience (hedge fund operations, investment bank operations, etc)
- Global equity and/or fixed income settlements experience
- Derivative/FCM/OTC settlement experience
- Corporate Actions
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong technology skills- can pick up new systems quickly (Enfusion/Arcesium)
- Strong organizational skills, with an attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges with minimal guidance
- A dedication to excellence, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Advanced in Excel
