Job Description - Cloud Data Services Engineer - Remote

CLOUD DATA SERVICES ENGINEER

$75/hr to $120/hr



ICS, a Korn Ferry company, is hiring for Cloud Data Service Engineers with strong public cloud data services experience (AWS, GCP, SaaS).



What You'll Do:

• Create designs and architectures for variety of public cloud data services in AWS, GCP, and SaaS
• Integrate public cloud data services with internal and external vendor systems
• Write microservices to provide APIs to support automation and various workflows
• Come up with migration strategies and tooling to migrate applications' data services from on-prem to public cloud once available
• Work on integration of a data change management tool such as Flyway or Liquibase into public cloud CI/CD for DDL & DML support
• Work closely with other teams internally to provide unified developer experience to application teams across the enterprise

Skills / Experience You Will Need:

• 5+ years of computer science background
• Experience with public cloud providers
• Experience writing SpringBoot microservices
• Experience developing modern, cloud-native SaaS applications
• Experience with Kafka or other relevant technologies
