Job Description - Technical Recruiter

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect for potential candidates using various direct methods such as cold calling, face to face meetings and indirect methods such as networking events
  • Manage candidate relationships with a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships
  • Research the Houston market and identify hiring and market trends
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, remaining engaged with all candidates throughout the entire recruiting process
  • Build a strong professional network that results in future business opportunities
  • Interview applicants and perform reference checks
  • Preparing written and verbal candidate presentation documents
  • Collaborate with peers in the local branch as well as other branches across the US for additional recruiting tactics
  • Demonstrate the importance of timely follow up with candidates and internal staff making communication/transparency a top priority
  • Remain an industry expert within the Houston market for hiring

Skills/Experience You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • 2+ years of business experience preferably in sales or recruiting
  • Competitive and coach-able mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
