ICS is working with a client who utilizes technology to support companies within surety, commercial, and personal lines insurance business. They are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, with experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry, to join their fast-growing team! The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and superb communication skills; as well as thrive in a smaller, quickly changing work environment.
Work closely with IT teams and leadership to analyze, strategize, develop, and drive best practices for application documentation, functional specification documentation, etc.
Act as a subject matter expert and openly communicate recommendations of processes, tools, and methodologies to leadership within the company
Create and maintain requirements templates and other templates or tools associated with the requirements process. Design and execute test cases, and assist customer with the same.
Stay on top of trends in the industry for capturing and maintaining requirements, and recommend improvements to the company’s process
Responsible for requirements documents, test cases and documentation, and demos and prototypes if necessary for each project.
Create descriptions of out of scope requirements in support of add-on sales or change control.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst; preferably in an IT consulting organization.
2+ recent years of technical experience within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry
Demonstrable experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills required.
Demonstrated experience of having a strong presence with customers.
Strong time management and personal organization skills to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
