A Global Payments Firm is looking to fill a newly created Compliance Analyst position. The Compliance Analyst will be based in their Tysons Corner Office and report up to and work alongside the Chief Compliance Officer. The Firm has a diverse range of products, solutions and services focused towards helping businesses and their employees and staff send and receive funds on a global scale. The Firm streamlines how its clients can transfer funds in dynamic and challenging situations without incurring onerous costs. The Firm has a strong international presence, with offices worldwide and growing rapidly. Because the Firm's clientele is global by nature, navigating the regulatory landscape across jurisdictional lines and borders is challenging. The Regulatory issues are diverse and complicated and require compliance professionals that have to anticipate potential problems just as much as dealing with them as they occur.
The Compliance Analyst will be the third member of the team. The team focuses on all aspects of compliance, including Corporate, Consumer Protection and, most importantly, AML. The CCO is looking to bring on a Compliance Analyst that can be a generalist, work on many issues, and be versatile. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in compliance within the financial services industry. Candidates from Payments Firms, Money Services Businesses and Traditional/Retail Banks will have the most suitable background.
